Your first figures and how data refreshes

Once your sources are connected, you fetch your figures for the first time with one click. After that, Metrara refreshes them automatically every night.

On this page

1. Fetch your first figures

  1. In the setup checklist, go to step 4, Fetch your first figures.
  2. Click Refresh now.
  3. Wait a moment. Metrara fetches all connected sources; this usually takes about half a minute.

2. How often figures are refreshed

Every night. Metrara fetches all sources early in the morning, so yesterday's figures are ready when you start your day.
Whenever you want. On tabs with figures, click Refresh figures in the bar at the top. This fetches all sources of that business again.

3. History

When you connect a source, Metrara fetches its history in the background:

  • Up to two years for Google Analytics, Google Ads and your webshop.
  • Up to sixteen months for Search Console. Google doesn't keep more.

For a large account this can take one or two nights. The newest figures come first.

4. Why some figures lag behind

  • Search Console is usually two to three days behind. That is how Google provides the data; the last days are filled in later.
  • Today is never complete yet. Figures for a day are final the next morning.
