Where’s the movement?
Revenue, broken into the parts that made it
Your revenue is visitors × conversion × average order value. Side by side, a rise or drop points to its own cause: if visitors hold steady but conversion falls, pulling in more traffic won’t fix it. Every line next to last period and last year.
Conversion and order value are up. The drop is fewer visitors. This is a traffic problem, not a shop problem, and more ad budget on a page that converts fine is money well spent.
Categories & products
Last year sits right beside this year
Revenue per category and per product, with a sortable column for last year. Sort on it and the toppers that sold well back then but are on zero now come straight to the top. With their current price and stock right next to them. “It just doesn’t sell anymore” usually turns out to have a reason.
Channels
Which channel sells which category
This comes from Google Analytics, because it’s the only source that knows which channel the buyer arrived through. A category that dried up because one channel fell away is a completely different problem from one where the demand itself is gone. And until you can tell them apart, you’re guessing.
Requires a Google Analytics connection. One login, read-only, done in a minute.
Free Shopping & feed health
Free traffic and the feed that feeds it
Metrara shows impressions, clicks and CTR of those free listings down to product level, next to last year. So “shown less often” stays separate from “shown but not clicked”. And the state of your feed: how many products Google rejected and why, with Google’s own fix beside each one, turned into a task.
Fourteen rejected products are fourteen products Google isn’t showing to anyone, while they sit in your stock. Most shop owners find out months later, if at all.
How it helps you
It’s Monday morning. Metrara opens with: wood stoves went from €3,886 to zero. Then it tells you why. Your free Shopping and organic listings dried up, while demand for the term held steady. Three of your old toppers are still in stock, priced well above last year. The price fix is drafted and sitting on your board.
