The Actions tab

Actions is where you get to work for a business:

On this page

Actions is where you get to work for a business: write blogs and ads, turn opportunities into tasks and create reports. Open Actions in the menu while a business is selected.

1. Who can use Actions

  • Your agency team can always use Actions.
  • Client users see the Actions tab only when the agency allows it. In Manage, turn on Client may run actions (Actions available to this client) for that client. Below that setting you choose whose credits are used.

Client users see the monthly reports the agency shared with them, not the button to create a report.

2. Overview

With a business selected, the Actions overview shows one card per action. Click a card to open it.

  • Write a blog: write a new blog on a keyword from your own research. See Write a blog.
  • Google Ads ad: research keywords and write ad copy for a new group, an existing group or opportunities in the account. See Write an ad.
  • Opportunities to tasks: turn the open optimizations of the business into task suggestions for the task board. See Opportunities to tasks.
  • Monthly report: let AI write a readable client report with the numbers and what was done. See Monthly report.
  • Alt text: find images without alt text and get a suggestion for each in your brand's tone. See Alt text.
  • Index check: check which pages Google is not showing and find out what is wrong. See Index check.
  • Written blogs: see everything already written and share a blog post on social media. See Write a blog.

3. Quick actions

Below the cards, Quick actions gives shortcuts to tools elsewhere in the business:

  • Run an audit: crawl the site and get a health score with improvement points.
  • Meta scan: check page titles and meta descriptions in one go.
  • Scan internal links: open the content map and spot internal link opportunities.
  • Backlink check: see which sites link to you and what appears or drops off.

4. Actions across all businesses

Click all businesses next to the title to leave the selected business. You then see the Index check and the Written blogs of all your businesses in one list. You write new blogs on the page of the business in question.

5. Credits

Some actions use credits, for example writing an ad, the monthly report and alt text. The button shows the cost before you click. See Credits.
