The SEO tab shows how you are found in Google: your clicks and positions, the keywords you rank for and how your pages perform. It appears when Search Console is connected.
1. Figures
- Four cards: Clicks from Google, Impressions in Google, CTR (click rate) and Avg. position. For position, lower is better.
- Where do you rank in Google? Your keywords spread across positions 1 to 3, 4 to 10, 11 to 20 and further.
- Keywords by intent: your keywords per stage of the customer journey.
- In which countries are you shown?
- Your to-do: agency users click Build my to-do for concrete SEO tasks based on your figures.
2. Keywords
- Google: The keywords you are found for, with Clicks, Impressions, CTR and Position. Click a column header to sort. Agency users can click Show search volume to add the monthly search volume for the top 100 keywords.
- Bing: The same for Bing, plus Found on Bing, not on Google. Appears when Bing is connected. See Bing Webmaster Tools.
- Own keywords: Your own keyword list, for example from keyword research.
- Open Add keywords from your research.
- Add One keyword or Paste a whole list.
- Link a keyword to a page, cluster and page type, or leave the page empty. Keywords without a page are your content gaps: topics you don't have a page for yet.
- Rank tracker: Track the position of specific keywords. See SEO: rank tracker.
3. Pages
All pages: All your pages with their Search Console figures, and per page your own focus keyword next to the keyword Google ranks you for.
- Google differs: Google shows the page for a different keyword than the one you chose.
- Cannibalization: the same keyword is set on more than one page.
- Without focus keyword.
The first time, agency users click Load sitemap (and Blog categories from WordPress) under Fetch pages. After that the nightly fetch keeps the list up to date.
Key pages: Your most important page types tracked separately, such as product or service pages. It shows orphan pages (nothing links to them) with Where to link from? suggestions.
Changes: Every day Metrara reads your most important pages and the competitor pages you track. When the title, meta description, headings, canonical, noindex, status code, word count or structured data change, you see what it was and what it is now, with the clicks in Google before and after. This uses no credits.
4. Business Profile
Views, calls, directions, website clicks and reviews from your Google Business Profile. Appears once the Business Profile is connected.
