Profit shows what is left of your revenue after costs. Revenue and advertising costs come in automatically; you add your other costs yourself or import them from your bookkeeping.
The tab is available to agency users for webshops, course businesses and service businesses. All amounts exclude VAT.

3. Add cost items
- Open Cost items.
- Fill in the Name, Category and Amount.
- Choose the VAT in amount and the Type: Monthly, Yearly or One-off.
- Choose the date and click Add cost item.
Monthly and yearly items count as fixed costs; one-off items as variable costs. Yearly items are spread over twelve months.
Import your bookkeeping
- Export an audit file (XAF) or a CSV with date, description and amount from your bookkeeping software. This works with e-Boekhouden, Moneybird, Exact Online, SnelStart, Twinfield, Yuki and most other packages.
- Open Bookkeeping and click Choose file.
- Metri reads the cost lines and prepares them as monthly or one-off items. Check each line: tick what to include, and adjust the kind, category or business.
- Click Import cost items.
Advertising costs are not ticked on purpose: they already come in automatically from Google Ads.
