How Metrara uses AI

Metrara uses AI to explain figures, set priorities and write texts. This page describes the rules the AI features follow.

On this page

1. Figures come from calculations

  • Metrara calculates figures from your own data: totals, comparisons, trends and goal progress.
  • The AI receives these figures ready-made. It picks what matters most and puts it into words.
  • For to-dos, the AI is instructed to use only the figures it receives and never to add or estimate one. Links in to-dos are added by Metrara, not by the AI.
  • Blogs are written without made-up figures, prices, studies or quotes. Ads use only keywords from the keyword list and converting search terms.
  • Metri, the assistant, does not see your figures and refers you to the right tab.

AI can still make mistakes in wording. Check a text before you publish or send it.

2. AI runs when you click

AI features start with a button, such as Build my to-do, Generate analysis or Let Metri find competitors. Opening a tab does not start an analysis.

A few AI tasks run automatically:

  • Weekly to-dos: every Monday morning Metrara rebuilds the to-dos for each section with a connected source, unless they are less than a week old or there are too few figures. See To-dos.
  • English versions: when someone in your account uses the dashboard in English, to-dos are written in Dutch and English at the same time.
  • Google updates: announcements that Google publishes about search are summarized in plain language. Only Google's own text is used, none of your data.

3. Metrara only reads your ad accounts

  • Metrara reads your Google Ads account. It never changes campaigns, budgets, keywords or ads.
  • AI advice and ad texts are suggestions. You copy them and make the change in Google Ads yourself.
  • The same applies to your website: suggestions for titles, meta descriptions or links change nothing on your site.

4. Which language the AI writes in

  • Texts for your audience, such as blogs, ads, alt text, meta texts, newsletters and social posts: the Language of your content under Manage, Tone of voice.
  • Analyses and advice for you, such as reports, AI analyses, task suggestions and the monthly plan: the language of your dashboard.

5. What is sent

Each action sends only what that action needs. For example:

  • To-dos: the calculated figures for that section and your goals.
  • Write a blog: the keyword, addresses of matching pages on your site for internal links and your tone of voice.
  • Write an ad: the product or service, keyword ideas, the content of the landing page if you enter one and your tone of voice.
  • AI suggestion for title & meta: the title, meta description, H1 and a text fragment of that page.
  • Import a brand book: the file you upload.
  • Metri: your question, the recent messages in the conversation, your first name and the names of your businesses.

6. Tone of voice

Texts follow the tone of voice you set per business. See Tone of voice and brand book.

7. Credits

Some AI actions cost credits, others are free. Each guide lists the cost. See Credits.
