Bing Webmaster Tools

Connect Bing to see how your website performs in Bing. Bing also powers the search results of ChatGPT and Copilot.

On this page

1. Before you start

  • Your website needs to be added to Bing Webmaster Tools.
  • You sign in with a Microsoft account that has access to the site.

2. Connect

  1. Go to Manage, choose your business and open Access keys. Client users: open Connections.
  2. In the Bing (Webmaster Tools) block, click Connect with Bing.
  3. Sign in with your Microsoft account and allow access.
  4. You return with Connected to Bing. Now choose your site.
  5. Choose your site under Bing site and click Save.

3. What you see after connecting

Under SEO, Keywords, Bing: clicks, impressions and the keywords you are found on in Bing.

4. Troubleshooting: "Bing returns no sites for this account"

Signing in worked, but the Microsoft account you used has no sites in Bing Webmaster Tools. This happens when you normally sign in to Bing Webmaster Tools with Google or with another Microsoft account.

  1. Open Bing Webmaster Tools with your usual login and go to Settings, User management.
  2. Add the Microsoft account you connected with as an administrator of the site.
  3. In Metrara, click Disconnect and connect again.

Or enter the site address yourself under Enter the site address yourself, exactly as Bing shows it, and click Save.
