Audit

The audit checks the technical health of your website: errors, missing titles and descriptions, broken links, speed and structured data.

On this page

You get one health score and a list of improvements.

1. Run an audit

  1. Open Audit and click Run audit.
  2. Metrara checks up to 120 pages from your sitemap. It runs in the background; you can carry on meanwhile.
  3. The audit also runs automatically every week.

Running an audit uses no credits. Click Export (CSV) to download all issues.

2. Health score

  • Health score from 0 to 100, with the change since the previous audit.
  • Errors, Warnings and Notices. Click a number to see those issues.
  • Since the previous audit: what you fixed and what is new.
  • PageSpeed for mobile and desktop: speed, accessibility, best practices and SEO, with Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP) and what real visitors experienced.
  • Core Web Vitals per page: measured weekly for your most important pages.

3. Improvements

Per area groups the issues into four categories. Open an issue to see the affected pages.

  • Technical: error pages, HTTPS, noindex, canonical tags, mobile viewport, slow pages, robots.txt and sitemap issues.
  • Content & meta: page titles and meta descriptions that are missing, too long or duplicated, H1 headings, thin content and images without alt text.
  • Findability & sharing: structured data that is missing or incomplete per type (such as Product, Article, FAQ and LocalBusiness), Open Graph tags, language settings and pages no longer shown in Google.
  • Links: broken links, links to redirects, redirect chains, orphan pages and pages deeper than three clicks from the home page.

For structured data, test a page with Google's Rich Results Test via the link in the issue.

Per page shows everything that is wrong on one page. Agency users can click To worklist or AI suggestion for title & meta.

Competitors

Run the same check on a competitor's site to see where you are ahead.

  • Type the competitor's address and click Compare. Up to 30 pages are checked; the result isn't saved.
  • Or click Let Metri find competitors for suggestions (1 credit) and add them to your list.
