Your Shopify revenue next to all your marketing, in one overview

Every night Metrara fetches your orders and products from Shopify and puts them next to Google Ads, Meta, Google Analytics and Search Console. You see what you sell, which channel drives those sales and what your ads really return.

Shopify knows what you sell. Not why.

Shopify shows your revenue, orders and products. Your ad spend lives in Google Ads and Meta, your search traffic in Search Console and your visitors in Google Analytics. To see what a campaign returns, you end up combining it all in a spreadsheet.

Metrara does that for you every night. Your Shopify store becomes the source of truth for revenue and every marketing channel is measured against it, so you see the return on your ads based on real sales rather than on what an ad platform reports about itself.

Everything from your store, explained in plain language

Revenue and orders

Revenue, orders, average order value and conversion, with the trend against the previous period and last year.

What comes off your revenue

Refunds, discount codes and shipping costs shown separately, so you know what is really left.

Products and product types

Your top ten by revenue, units sold and stock. Shopify product types become your categories.

New and returning customers

How much revenue comes from returning customers and how long it takes before someone orders again.

Checkout and payment methods

Which payment methods and discount codes are used and on which days and hours people order.

Return per channel

Google Ads and Meta ROAS based on your Shopify revenue, so double counting between channels stands out.

ROAS based on what actually came into Shopify

Google Ads and Meta both credit themselves with a sale when a customer clicked ads on both. Add up their numbers and your ad revenue looks higher than your total store revenue. Metrara puts each platform's conversion value next to your actual Shopify revenue, so you see where the gap is.

That way you decide on real sales which campaign deserves more budget and which one to pause.

Frequently asked questions about the Shopify dashboard

No. The app you create only gets read access. Metrara reads your orders and products and never changes prices, stock or orders.

Orders with amount, discount, refund, payment method and discount code, plus your products with price, product type and stock. Customers are recognised by customer number, without storing names, email addresses or addresses.

Metrara is not listed in the Shopify App Store. With your own app in the Shopify admin you decide which read permissions to grant and you can revoke access at any time by deleting the app.

You connect one store per business. If you run several stores, add each one as its own business. The Growth and Agency plans let you measure several side by side.

Shopify is included in every plan. Start is €49 per month for one business, Growth €99 for up to five businesses and Agency €249 for up to 25 businesses, all excl. VAT. Try it free for 14 days first.
